Why curation actually matters

Anyone can throw up a list. We reject ~30% of submissions to keep this one worth visiting.

We reject weak submissions

Real starter kits only — a maintained codebase that scaffolds a working project. Honest pricing, working URL, current framework versions. No tutorials, no abandonware, no vaporware landing pages.

Hard cap on featured slots

Maximum 3 featured boilerplates per category. We won't dilute the experience even if we leave money on the table.

Fast-track is paid on approval

Submit your boilerplate, we review under 48 h. If we approve, the $49 is collected. If we reject, full refund — no risk to you.

Reach stack-choosing developers — sponsor a category

Category features ($199/mo), homepage banner ($499/mo), newsletter sponsor ($299/issue), or custom campaigns. All placements labelled Sponsored. We turn down advertisers if the fit is wrong.

Pricing FAQ

What's the difference between Standard and Fast-track?

Standard takes 5–10 days, gets you listed and indexed. Fast-track is reviewed in under 48 h, comes with featured placement on your category page for 7 days, eligibility for the homepage trending rotation, a mention in the next weekly newsletter, and a refund guarantee if rejected.

Why pay if Standard is free?

If you're launching a paid kit, running a Product Hunt launch, or riding a framework release, the visibility window matters — boilerplate buyers search when they start projects. Fast-track gets you on the homepage and category top within 48 h. For an open-source starter with no deadline, Standard is the right call.

Do you charge to renew listings?

No. Once approved, your listing stays free forever. You can submit unlimited updates (new screenshots, description tweaks, version bumps) at no cost.

What if my app is rejected?

Standard: you get an explanation and pointers — common reasons are an unmaintained repo, a landing page with no actual product, or a listing that duplicates an existing one. Fast-track: full refund, no questions asked.

Is this VAT-inclusive?

Prices are net of tax. Checkout is handled by Stripe, which applies VAT or sales tax based on your country where required.

Can I sponsor instead of being listed?

Yes — see /advertise for category features, homepage banner, newsletter sponsor slots, and custom campaigns. Always labelled 'Sponsored'.

Ready to ship?

Most makers pick fast-track when launching a paid kit, free for open-source starters.
